Joys of the Season

Joys of the Season is a wonderful program set up to help families having financial difficulties provide holiday presents for their children. The Mad River Valley elementary schools provide the number of families and children in each family who are eligible to participate.  They are given vouchers to be used to purchase presents from participating Mad River Valley and Waterbury retailers.   It's a win/win situation:  these children receive presents and the retailers receive extra business.  The program is currently working with 13 retailers (2 new shops were added this year), and in the past has assisted 80-100 children annually.
