Every Thanksgiving, for over 20 years, the MRVIC has provided a complete Thanksgiving meal to families and neighbors in need. In 2024, we collectively helped more than 100 families and over 500 people. The whole meal is free of charge.​The generosity of the Valley makes this effort possible: company donations, individual donations, volunteers to lift, pack, and deliver.

Thanksgiving Baskets
Every fall, food and cash donations are collected and volunteers package the food for pickup or delivery right before Thanksgiving. Families and individuals in need throughout the valley, covering Moretown, Waitsfield, Warren, and Fayston, let us know they would like a basket via the schools, online, or churches. The “baskets” include all the ingredients you need for a delicious dinner: turkey, veggies, bread, fruit, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce and, of course, pie.
